The 'Don't Forget My Eyes' collection delves into the deepest emotional layers, inner conflicts, and the psychological impact of our experiences. I aimed to express the complexity of the human psyche through art.
In each piece of my collection, there's a story to tell. These narratives reflect the inner journeys and spiritual transformations of the characters. The emotional moments that change with their experiences are visually captured in each artwork. However, there's a striking detail: the eyes. Known as the mirror of the soul and heart, the eyes take center stage in my collection. Ironically, no matter what the characters go through, their eyes remain unchanged. This offers a glimpse into the depths of the human psyche; it shows that contradictions can coexist within us. I've written short stories for each character, making my artworks more meaningful. I believe that my artworks and stories serve as mirrors reflecting the complexity of the human inner world and the influence of society. I hope the experiences of my characters resonate with your soul and heart. Darya, Sergei, Makena, Adrian, Aurelia, Kwame, they were all fundamentally innocent and well-intentioned individuals. Please, don't let go of such people around you, and don't put in effort to turn anyone into a monster.
